We attach great importance to maintaining lasting relationships with our retired employees. the Personnel Department of HR Center takes care of almost 1,700 former employees of Gdańsk University of Technology - retirees and pensioners. In 1989, we established a Senior Club at the university.
Thanks to the Club, people who have devoted their entire professional lives to Gdańsk University of Technology, and formally remain outside its walls, still have access to the latest information and successes of the university. The ties that have been established here in the course of many years of joint work are still maintained and nurtured. Seniors also support each other in solving everyday health problems, sometimes with loneliness, often also with material problems.
We make sure that our seniors have the opportunity to meet at the university. We organize Christmas and Easter meetings for them. We also organize lectures and classes conducted during the summer in Czarlina holiday resort.
